This Project will help the teachers from Lousada and Craiova find the best way to introduce relevant European Union subjects in school curricula, in order to improve the students` knowledge concerning European Union, reduce the EUrocepticism in current and future generations and contribute to a real citizenship at EU level.
To achieve these goals, teachers and those responsible for the organisation of education will inquire their students regarding literacy on EU subjects and choose those which are put aside by the students in order to be included in the schools’ curricula. The discussion around the chosen subjects will take place online, using a blog with participants from Portugal and Romania.
As a result, the students and adults involved in this project should not only improve their skills related to EU citizenship, but also some of the key competences for lifelong learning such as: cultural awareness and expression, communication in foreign languages and digital competences.
